What a work of art is WOMAN.

Posted by Spaceman Spiff at 11:42 AM
We go to the parlour and sit through threading, waxing, etc every month.

We willingly get piercings done in all sorts of places.

We wear bras with hard underwire that dig into the skin and leave ugly red marks, just so that our breasts look firmer and perkier.

We actually wait to get our periods so that we can finally, officially, be called a grown-up, even if we writhe in pain for ‘those’ 3-4 days of the month because of cramps.

We look forward to getting married, getting pregnant and going into labour.

We wear heels to add to our style.

We sometimes wear clothes so tight that it becomes difficult to breath.

We blow-dry our hair, where the lady at the beauty parlour pulls at our hair so hard that only half of it is remaining at the end of it.

We fall in love, more often than not with the wrong guy, pushing away the sweet, genuine guy, in spite of knowing all along that we're gonne end up getting hurt.

Do you even need more proof that women actually like pain?

P.S 1:- Hey there! I'm new here. :)

P.S 2:- Am I the oldest member of the group? The cynicism shows, doesn't it? Dammit...

i dnt think you are the oldest :P Hold old are u btw?
Women do love pain...esp the waxing part and going for a full night party wearing 5 inch heels knowing that this would result in complete bed rest tmrw with sore legs. :P

@Red Handed: Go read my blog woman. I've said it there. I'm not saying it again. It hurts. Believe me. :(
My tolerance for waxing weaned with just three-four sessions. I don't dare to do that anymore. I go for lesser painful options now. :/

Beautiful wings have lots of pain behind them............ For the past few weeks..one thing got into my mind and I find it difficult to handle or accept it. And its not on the professional side ..its on the personal side…! The incident or the person or the thing related to this is not important …but I want to say something about my perception…!

I was in a thought that…with all my lessons learned from my past (emotionally) I can handle all the things easily. But things are not in my favor…life is interesting…it throws different things in different stages of life. And now again with lots of introspection slowly getting to accept the things. Its about taking and accepting persons as they are…and everyone has a personal side and its different with everyone…! They should handle it and they should learn from their experiences…and no one else should try to help them getting out of the problem ( if they are grown enough).

Just remember this small story of a Butterfly which exactly relates to this post..( once told by me friend to me…!)

A man found a cocoon of a butterfly.
One day a small opening appeared.
He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours
as it struggled to squeeze its body through the tiny hole.
Then it stopped, as if it couldn’t go further.

So the man decided to help the butterfly.
He took a pair of scissors and
snipped off the remaining bits of cocoon.
The butterfly emerged easily but
it had a swollen body and shriveled wings.

The man continued to watch it,

expecting that any minute the wings would enlarge
and expand enough to support the body,
Neither happened!
In fact the butterfly spent the rest of its life
crawling around.
It was never able to fly.

What the man in his kindness and haste did not understand:
The restricting cocoon and the struggle
required by the butterfly to get through the opening
was a way of forcing the fluid from the body
into the wings so that it would be ready
for flight once that was achieved.

Sometimes struggles are exactly
what we need in our lives.
Going through life with no obstacles would cripple us.
We will not be as strong as we could have been
and we would never fly.
